About Me

 

My name is Quisha. I am a licensed Nail Technician. Also, I am a wife and a mother of an energetic daughter. I truly enjoy the spontaneity of life, and two years ago, I made a life changing decision to refocus my energy on entrepreneurship. Since I already had a fondness, borderline obsession with nails, I knew opening up my own nail studio would be a great opportunity to share my nurturing spirit and creativity with the world.

 

Before Nails

 

I spent a large portion of my work history in education. I am an Educator with an emphasis on career coaching and personal and professional development. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration from Woodbury University. Currently, I am an Adjunct Faculty at Cuyamaca Community College. Yet, I yearned to make a career transition, and I have chosen to devote my time to QD Natural Nails.

 

What Sparked My Desire To Do Nails

 

The first time I got my  nails was in high school. After that experience, I was hooked. I was amazed how my nails could transform into a glamorous work of art. Thus, I began to try to design my own nails myself. I loved art and excelled in my art classes, so I figured why not give it a try. I wasn't successful at doing my own nails, so I stopped trying and began visiting the nail salon regularly. However over the years, I became very disappointed in the level of customer service I received and the Nail Tech's inability to answer my questions about the health and state of my natural nails. Thus, I used my disappointment and combined it with my love for nails to spark my entrepreneurial spirit. Then, I began researching and learning about the nail industry. It took years for me to develop the courage to pursue nail school, but I did, and thereafter, my dreams of becoming a licensed Nail Technician came to life.
