CeeJay Swagg, born in Miami, Florida on October 19, as Cuthbert Williams, says his earliest memory that he can recall would be performing mini concerts at the age of 4 in front of his parents. CeeJay Swagg, better known to his peers as simply, CeeJay, father of 4, is a very outgoing person, with a big heart and smile to match! Very focused in his craft, CeeJay has always had a fear of not making his

family proud, til this day his family, is his driving force in why he chases his dreams.

 

As one who has always taking a liking to problem solving since grade school, and always out thinking his fellow classmates, CeeJay is one to spend days on perfecting his craft, by fine toothing combing all his traits in which help develop his sound. CeeJay Swagg says, “ He was “The Man”, both inside and outside of the classroom” all through school. As an alumni of Florida Memorial University, CeeJay says his most memorable college experience would have been when he use to free style battle amongst fellow peers by the lagoon on campus. Not being one expected to even attend college after being sent to jail, causing for a high school drop-out, with the results of being shot, is what made him make the decision to even enroll, to defy the odds, and show anything is possible.

 

Watching his single mother struggle while his father is a successful business man is what influences him to be a better man. Declaring his children as his biggest fans and his motivation, he simply defines happiness as a “peace of mind, with great faith”.
